femailshowbiz - Beberapa waktu lalu, Bangtan Boys atau yang kerap disapa BTS mengejutkan penggemar dengan mengumumkan akan menambah satu lokasi untuk tur konser "Speak Yourself". Pada 14 Juni lalu, Big Hit Entertainment mengumumkan bahwa grup tersebut menambahkan Riyadh, Arab Saudi sebagai tujuan konser selanjutnya.
Grup ini akan tampil di Stadion Internasional King Fahd Riyadh, Arab Saudi pada 11 Oktober 2019 akan datang. Ini yakni sejarah baru mengingat BTS merupakan pekerja seni asing pertama yang mengadakan konser solo stadion berskala besar di Arab Saudi hal yang demikian.
Tapi konser BTS di Arab Saudi sudah memicu pro kontra sengit antara fandom BTS, ARMY. Baru-baru ini, banyak penggemar yang keberatan dengan digelarnya konser di negara hal yang demikian sebab alasan sosial-politik. Mereka minta perhatian pada info-berita hak asasi manusia yang sedang berlangsung dan keresahan di dalam negeri.
Penggemar yang melakukan protes tersebut menggunakan tagar #BTSDontGo untuk mengungkapkan pendapatnya. Beberapa penggemar ini mengklaim bahwa tampil di Arab Saudi bertentangan dengan pekerjaan yang BTS lakukan dengan UNICEF melalui kampanye #ENDviolence.
"Para artis telah memboikot Arab Saudi karena pelanggaran hak asasi manusia yang mencolok terhadap aktivis perempuan dan komunitas LGBTQ+, BTS adalah perwakilan PBB dan semua orang yang terlibat di sini seharusnya tahu itu lebih baik. Jujur saja, BigHit seharusnya tahu lebih baik," ungkap salah satu penggemar di Twitter.
Sementara itu, sebagian penggemar juga mendorong keputusan BTS untuk menggelar konser di Arab Saudi. Sebagian penggemar yang menyokong mengatakan bahwa penggemar di Arab Saudi juga semestinya mempunyai peluang untuk memandang BTS terlepas dari dilema hak asasi manusia negara itu. Kecuali itu, konser BTS juga dikatakan dapat menjadi langkah positif bagi negara.
"BTS bukan politisi mereka seniman. Ya negara ini punya masalah. tetapi begitu juga Amerika Serikat dan Prancis dan ke mana pun mereka pergi. Mereka ada di sana untuk melihat ARMY bukan perdana menteri atau lainnya. Kalian terlihat bodoh dengan trending ini," ungkap fans lain.
Sejauh ini, konser K-Pop yang pertama kali digelar di negara itu yakni milik Super Junior dan Stray Kids yang berlangsung pada bulan Juli lalu. Sampai sekarang, Big Hit Entertainment belum merilis pernyataan tentang masalah ini dan jadwal konser BTS tidak berubah hingga kini.
