femailshowbiz - Menjelang penayangan episode perdana "Hi Bye, Mama!", tvN semakin gencar dalam melakukan promosi. Salah satunya adalah dengan merilis cuplikan video baru yang fokus pada karakter Cha Yu Ri (Kim Tae Hee).
Hi Bye, Mama! sendiri menyebutkan seputar kisah seorang ibu bernama Cha Yu Ri (Kim Tae Hee) yang meninggal dalam kecelakaan tragis. Tapi dia kembali ke dalam kehidupan suami dan putrinya sebagai hantu 49 hari. Dia konsisten mempertahankan kepribadian positif dan idealisnya walaupun sudah menghabiskan waktu selama lima tahun sebagai hantu.
Cha Yu Ri tak bisa meninggalkan dunia meski telah meninggal sebab kerinduannya yang tidak terpenuhi untuk memeluk putrinya. Sebab itulah ia secara ajaib dapat mendapatkan kans untuk kembali ke keluarganya selama 49 hari.
Suami Cha Yu Ri adalah seorang ahli bedah yang bernama Jo Kang Hwa (Lee Kyu Hyung). Dia sangat terpukul atas kematian istri sekaligus cinta pertamanya. Setelah kematian Cha Yu Ri, Jo Kang Hwa sangat tertekan hingga membuat kepribadiannya berubah. Saat mendiang istrinya kembali dan terlihat persis seperti sebelum meninggal, Jo Kang Hwa menemukan hidupnya kembali.
Dalam cuplikan baru yang dirilis Cha Yu Ri menonjol betul-betul berbahagia tiap-tiap berada di samping putrinya ketika dia menjadi hantu. Ia terus mencontohnya berangkat ke sekolah, merasa gemas dengannya dan memuji kecantikannya. Ia malahan berbuat seperti manusia dan ingin supaya putrinya mengecupnya.
Adegan selanjutnya memperlihatkan peristiwa dikala Cha Yu Ri beraksi sebagai hantu. Ia kelihatan menembus tembok dan bis serta berkeliling dengan benar-benar ceria di siang hari.
Namun situasi menegangkan mulai terjadi saat Cha Yu Ri dan rekan-rekan hantunya diserang oleh seseorang. Tubuhnya dilempar hingga hanya menempel di pohon. Ternyata yang melakukan itu padanya adalah seorang dukun yang bernama Mi Dong Baek (Yoon Sa Bong). Ia bertugas untuk mengawasi para hantu dan mengirim mereka ke alam baka.
Mi Dong Baek kelihatan memarahi para hantu sebab tidak kunjung meninggalkan dunia. Di sisi lain, Cha Yu Ri dengan gagah berani melawannya malahan menjulurkan lidah padanya sebelum melarikan diri dengan sistem menghilang. Aksi Cha Yu Ri ini mendapatkan dukungan dari sahabat-sahabat hantunya yang lain dan membikin Mi Dong Baek terkejut.
Video itu kemudian kembali konsentrasi pada Cha Yu Ri yang senantiasa berada di sisi buah hatinya malah ikut serta bermain dengannya. Puncaknya, putri Cha Yu Ri tampak sudah menyadari absensi hantu ibunya dan mulai melirik ke arahnya dengan agak takut. Sampai alhasil Cha Yu Ri juga menyadari jika putrinya dapat memandangnya sehingga membuatnya kaget dan hampir menangis.
Sementara itu, "Hi Bye, Mama!" dipersiapkan untuk menggantikan slot tayang "Crash Landing On You" yang dibintangi oleh Hyun Bin dan Son Ye Jin. Drama ini rencananya akan mulai tayang pada 22 Februari mendatang.
